As Parking Services focus on building a future-focused, agile and customer-oriented team, we’re now on the hunt for a Learning and Recruitment Delivery Advisor to drive learning and development initiatives that empower our kaimahi to bring this vision to life.
This is a fixed term role until 31 March 2028. If you’re a current kaimahi in a central government agency, we are open to you applying for this opportunity as a secondment from your current agency.
Āu ake mahi | What you'll do
As the Learning and Recruitment Delivery Advisor, you will work across the full learning cycle by identifying capability and performance needs, designing and developing learning solutions, facilitating learning, assessing competency and evaluating effectiveness. .
A key component of the role will be delivering and supporting high-quality induction courses and ongoing development to our frontline Parking Officers, so you’ll need to be comfortable designing learning and facilitating practical training to frontline teams.
Reporting to the Learning and Recruitment Delivery Lead Advisor, you will be well supported to come in and take charge of key learning and development initiatives. She describes her leadership style as collaborative, supportive and outcomes focused. She provides clear direction and expectations while giving people the trust and autonomy to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas and use their expertise. You will be respected for the expertise you bring and encouraged to share your knowledge with the wider team to uplift capability.
Every day will be varied for you and other responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and delivering face-to-face, blended and digital learning for frontline teams
- Creating engaging eLearning using Articulate 360, including Rise and/or Storyline, and managing learning through Totara LMS
- Identifying learning and performance needs and developing practical solutions using sound learning design and adult learning principles
- Quickly learning new technology, digital tools and operational applications, and translating these into clear, practical training for frontline teams
- Working flexibly with operational leaders, subject-matter experts and learners, adapting learning schedules and delivery as operational needs and priorities change
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition Business Partner with the recruitment of Parking Officers
Ngā tohu me ngā wheako | Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of three years’ hands on experience in a dedicated Learning and Development role, with demonstrated capability across the end-to-end learning cycle.
You will also bring demonstrated experience in:
- Articulate 360, particularly Rise and/or Storyline or similar applications, with the ability to independently develop engaging digital learning
- Totara LMS, including managing learning content, learner records and reporting
- Applying adult learning principles and structured learning design approaches such as ADDIE to analyse needs, design and develop learning, implement solutions and evaluate effectiveness
- Confidently using and learning new technology, digital tools and applications, and translating technical information into practical, easy-to-understand learning for frontline teams
- Working flexibly in a busy operational environment, adapting learning plans and delivery as priorities and schedules change
We are looking to appoint between $91,558 to $107,715 per annum, for this role, depending on relevant skills and experience.
