Mōhiohio: Information Directorate
The Information Directorate delivers the ICT infrastructure and information tools to support the business and develops data, data products, information, and new tools for colleagues, customers, TEOs, and other agencies to support TEC's invest and champion goals.
He angitūtanga: About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Security, Infrastructure & Applications, the purpose of this role is to lead the centre of excellence that delivers the Applications function to the information Directorate. You will be responsible for the leadership of technical and administrative services to support and maintain live applications.
- Leading and managing a team of Application Analysts that specialise in M365, D365, Service Now and information/records.
- Manage critical incidents, and ensure the resourcing, processes and tools are created and maintained in order to meet demand and continuously improve applications services for TEC
- broaden the portfolio distribution so all applications/roles would have back up and support from at least one other person
- Develop core product roadmaps and design implementation strategies to meet business requirements.
- Manage product portfolios, product backlogs and continuous improvement plans for core business applications.
He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:
This role would require a team leader who has a strong customer focus and has the skills to readily build relationships and knowledge across the business. They would have the knowledge, skills and experience of leading applications analysts in the Microsoft ecosystem (D365, M365, SharePoint) and ServiceNow to be a mentor when required to solve problems. You will bring the following:
- Proven experience in building and managing a high performing team
- Extensive experience with managing the technical delivery of applications. Microsoft application experience preferred.
- Experience in developing product roadmaps and implementation through Agile delivery of continuous improvement backlogs.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
- Able to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Please note, due to team leadership element of the role, this is srictly a Wellington-based position.

The salary range for this position starts from $125,813 up to $148,015 + 3% KiwiSaver depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
