We have two Content Developer roles available in the Tahatū Content Team - 1 permanent role and 1 fixed term for 12-months. You will be asked to indicate your preference of role (or both) as part of the application process.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

Your focus will be on researching and writing accurate content for a new and exciting careers website. Your daily work will include:

  • Content development:
    • Produce accurate and consistent web content by carrying out desk research and analysing and curating data.
    • Write to templated styles and formatsby following style guides, government web standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Content management: Upload content to the CMS, DMS and video platforms, maintain files and records, find and upload imagery, keep track of everything you have on the go.
  • Team building: Work collaboratively with team members, enjoy the peer review process and chip in to solve problems and meet deadlines.

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:

  • At least two years' experience researching and writing and/or developing website content.
  • Experience in researching information through different means including desk research and interviews.
  • Personal skills including initiative, problem-solving, attention to detail and reasoning.
  • Strong skills in plain English writing and a good understanding of web accessibility .
  • Experience in a role where accuracy and fact-checking are a must.
  • Knowledge of web analytics, CMS and DMS environments would be useful.

The salary range for this position starts from $68,707 up to $80,832 + 3% KiwiSaver depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
