Tēnā, e rapu ana mātou i tētahi kaiwhakahaere tari e ū ai ki ngā aronga me te tautoko i te mairangatanga o Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa ki tōna taumata.
The Kaiwhakahaere Tari (Administrator) role is to provide administrative functions of NPRA, particularly in;
- Establishing and maintaining a NPRA register,
- Ensuring the meeting of financial requirements and maintaining compliance on behalf of NPRA.
- Establish and maintain the NPRA website and Facebook page
- Ensure regular communication to Puna Reo members.
A central part of the role will be to set up NPRA administrative systems. This will include assisting the Tumu with establishing an office for NPRA including premises, internet, power, phone and other office equipment.
There are also secretariat aspects of the role which include;
- Governance assistance and support to the Mana Tōpū
- Relational building with respective Puna Reo
- Assist Tumu in the organising of NPRA hui, wānanga and annual national forum

Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa Incorporated (NPRA) is a newly formed entity established to support Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa, kaupapa Māori immersion early years education services.
The purpose of Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa is to advance quality kaupapa Māori immersion early years education by ensuring that Ngā Puna Reo are appropriately recognised, supported and resourced as unique kaupapa Māori immersion early years education services.

- To seek and advocate for the important roles that they play in the education system, political solutions and key actions to recognise and support puna reo.
- That puna reo has greater national visibility, particularly within the education sector and Government. Our voice needs to be heard.
- That there are systems change within the education sector that recognises

2. He Puna Whenua
- That there is equitable financing, funding and resourcing for puna reo.
- That there are greater incentives for puna reo kaiako, current and future.
3. He Puna Wai
- That NPRA is a strong advocate for puna reo and the intergenerational role that they play in the lives and futures of tamariki and whānau.
- That puna reo, who affiliate with Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa, are full immersion centres by 2027.
TE TURANGA (The position)
A central part of The Kaiwhakahaere Tari (Administrator) role is to provide administrative functions, and set up administrative systems for NPRA.
There is a secretariat aspect of this role and that is to assist governance, Te Mana Tōpū providing support as required.
NGĀ HAEPAPATANGA MATUA (Main responsibilities)
To NPRA
- Establishing and maintaining a NPRA register.
- Ensuring the meeting of financial requirements and maintaining compliance on behalf of NPRA.
- To pursue the purpose and objectives of NPRA in this establishment phase, over the next twelve months.
To the Tumu Whakarae me te Mana Tōpū
- Assisting the Tumu with establishing an office for NPRA including premises, internet, power, phone and other office equipment
- Provide support to the Mana Tōpū, as all Mana Tōpū members’ roles are voluntary
- Assist the Tumu in the organising of NPRA hui, wānanga and its annual national forum, at which its annual general meeting will take place.
To Ngā Puna centres
- Establish and maintain the NPRA website and Facebook page
- Ensure regular communication to Puna Reo members.
- In the establishment phase, support for relationship-building with Puna Reo across the country and helping provide support and advice to members will also form part of this role.
