Our client, KidsCan, is on the hunt for a dedicated Marketing Executive to join their team in Auckland. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a well-respected organisation that strives to make a difference in the community. As a Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging content and messages that resonate with donors, partners, fundraisers, schools and Early childhood centres.
What you'll do:
As a Marketing Executive at KidsCan, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to develop, implement, and drive the KidsCan marketing strategies. You will have a strong focus on delivering against targets while ensuring seamless coordination across various teams.
Your role will involve planning and implementing donor loyalty activities, managing acquisition & retention plans, and continuously optimising activities for a strong return on investment. You will also be responsible for developing compelling stories that engage potential donors.
- Collaborate with various teams such as Fundraising, Partnership, Programmes to drive integration across campaigns and activities
- Plan and implement donor loyalty activities to drive retention
- Identify opportunities to innovate and grow revenue
- Manage the implementation of the acquisition & retention activity plan across all channels
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver campaigns
- Provide reporting and insights on the success of key activities, capturing learnings to ensure improvements
- Develop customer communications plans and manage its implementation across all channels
What you bring:

- Minimum 3+ year's experience in a similar role – regular/individual giving/fundraising/marketing/advertising (NFP experience ideal but not essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or related field
- Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Motivated self-starter willing to take initiative and ownership
- Strong drive to succeed with good initiative
- Team Player with a positive and professional attitude
- Excellent relationship building skills

- Ability to work autonomously when required
